Black Torrington is a vibrant village with lots going on for all ages, including:
- Time out lunch, monthly on a Thursday
- Blake House and Dr Gwynne Trust (formerly League of Friends) run events and fundraisers across the year. Contact K Matthews 01409 231228.
- There is a handbell group
- Football (Tuesday evenings) on the playing field
- Netball (Wednesday evenings) on the MUGGA
The village has an active Facebook Village noticeboard and this is where most groups and clubs share their activities
If you want to get involved in village committees or groups there is a Playing Field Committee who help with upkeep and fundraise all year – including village Fireworks and Bonfire Night or you can join the Blake House Trust to help raise money for the local surgery to offer additional facilities and services.
